The facilities were well kept and the play areas were much better then our home yard could ever be! I highly recommend them! We will definitely be back!"
"We had a trip planned for Labor Day, and our family had something come up and couldn’t watch our dog. We almost cancelled the trip because we were so nervous about leaving our puppy with strangers, that he would get bored, or that they wouldn’t give him enough attention...and then our trainer recommended here! Cliff had THE TIME OF HIS LIFE this weekend! He came home worn out from all of the play time with his new friends! We got to see a Facebook video of him playing and instantly felt reassured while we were away. He was splashing in the creek and playing with the other dogs, happy as can be. The staff is kind and got to know him and his personality, even though he was new and only here for a few days. The next time we need someone to watch Cliff, it’s going to be a no-brainer: we’re coming back again and again! ♥️ "

"I've been boarding my dogs at Crikett Lane since 2001. They took great care of my elderly dogs, which are gone now... and my 2-year-old Jack Russell named Sadie LOVES it. We even went overseas in 2008 and left her there fore 3 weeks, with no worries. She gets so much play there, it takes a day or two to recover, which is saying a lot for a JRT. :) I was just googling to find their phone number and saw this site. Sadie will be spending just one night there later this week. Great having a place you can leave your animal knowing they will receive not only care, but love as well."
"We have used Cricket Lane for our two dogs multiple times. I just love the people there and the place. They get to stay together in the large indoor/outdoor run and get exercise, including private walks along the river while they are there. The staff here really take good care of my dogs and when I go to pick them up they are excited to see me, but they don't want to leave. I am very picky about where I choose to leave my dogs, but highly suggest Cricket Lane, it's beautifully tucked away in the mountains of East TN."
"Great kennel. I would never go anywhere else. I'm really picky about where my pets go (they are more like my kids), but if I have to travel then they go to here. The people are great and go beyond what they have to. They sat in the kennel with them when they got home sick. What other place will do that?! I would like them to be closer, but I don't mind the drive. I know my dogs are going to be well taken cared for."
"I just left my 3 dogs at Crikett Lane from June 5 through June 12. The 3 of them had never been boarded for that long, and I was so worried about leaving them. We usually have a house/dog sitter that stays with them when we are on trips, but that fell through this time. But, I was worried for nothing. They were fine and well-cared for at Crikett Lane. I was able to call and check on them daily. They were healthy and clean and happy when I picked them up. I would use Crikett Lane again without hesitation. I have had a terrible experience with another local boarding kennel so I know that boarding your animals is not always this successful. I highly recommend them. The kennel is in a great setting, wooded, near a creek. The owners are great and love the animals. Such a relief to know there's a place where my dogs will be safe if I have to go out of town. And, they are very affordable, especially compared to the kennels in Knoxville. Highly, highly recommended."
"I am so thankful to have Crikett Lane in my area. I have used it many times since moving to East Tennessee. It is cheaper than many Knoxville area boarding kennels and is family run. You get to know the staff, and they know all their customers and dogs. I have a very nervous/anxious older dog, and this is the first kennel he has actually enjoyed going to! It's located on a beautiful piece of land, and the dogs always have a great time."
"This place is awesome I just picked my german shepard up from there and he looked great and we where gone for a while you never have to worry when your dog is here plus they send you pictures while your on vacation come here!!!"
